Finalmente hace minutos se hizo el anuncio oficial de las nominaciones a los Oscar 2023 desde el Samuel Goldwyn Theater de Beverly Hills. La estrella de M3GAN, Allison Williams, y el ganador del Oscar Riz Ahmed se levantaron temprano para revelar los nominados, y una vez finalizaron, Everything Everywhere All At Once encabezó la lista con 11 nominaciones, seguida de The Banshees of Inisherin, con nueve, y All Quiet on the Western Front, con ocho. Estas tres películas obtuvieron la codiciada nominación a la mejor película, junto con Avatar: The Way of Water, Elvis, The Fablemans, TAR, Top Gun: Maverick, Triangle of Sadness y Women Talking.
